“Any natural place contains an infinite reservoir of information,
and therefore the potential for inexhaustible new discoveries.”
–Richard Louv, Last Child in the Woods
The goal of Hunt-Treasure.com is to get kids and families outdoors and exploring the natural world with a sense of adventure. Within this site, you will find tips and ideas for how to treasure hunt with your family whether you and your kids are nature experts or new to outdoor adventures. Teachers and scout leaders will also find ideas for treasure hunting lesson plans and activities.
Spend the day or the week meteorite hunting, learning how to geocache or to pan for gold, finding treasures with metal detecting, or letterboxing. If in your hunt for treasure, you find gold or come home empty handed, you’ll know that it was the adventure with your kids that was most valuable.
